Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 24th January, 2016: A doctor from Falakata hospital was alleged to have neglected his duties which led to the death of a mentally challenged person in the city. It is reported that on Saturday a mentally challenged half naked person was found in the waiting shed of the hospital. When reported to the BMOH, he ordered the person to be shifted to the unused Labor Room of the hospital. Further, according to the sources, the doctors went in for a Picnic party and returned late in the night. In the morning when the labor room was opened the person was found to be dead. In minutes, the news spread and there was a commotion in the hospital campus. According to the protesters if the doctors would have attended the person, then the person could have been saved. When contacted the BMOH Dr. Mizanoor Rahman said that he would rather say whatever about the incident to his superiors rather than the press.
